Police are investigating an armed robbery and shooting in east Tulsa. Officers say it happened in the 11800 block of East 38th Street at about 1:45 a.m.

Tulsa Police say four people were returning home from a bar when three men approached them. One of the men had a shotgun and all three demanded money. When the four said they didn't have any cash, the robber with the gun shot one of the victims in the shoulder.

The three men then drove away in a tan or silver SUV. Police said the victims did not have a good description of the shooter or the other two men.

EMSA took the gunshot victim to a Tulsa hospital with what police said were non-life threatening injuries.

If you have information about the incident, police ask you to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
