Bartlesville Woman Arrested For Sexual Abuse On Toddler Relative
BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma - A Bartlesville woman has been arrested for reportedly performing sex acts on a toddler and emailing explicit photos to another person, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says.
Sara Marie Garoutte, 32, was arrested at her home in the 400 block of North Woodrow Avenue.
OSBI said its Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received a tip from the Moore Police Department on Thursday that Garoutte had sexually abused a 3- to 4-year-old relative and emailed photos of the numerous sex acts to someone who was already the subject of another investigation in Garvin County.
Agents served a search warrant on Gaurotte's Bartlesville home Thursday night, then they interviewed and arrested her.
Agents believe the abuse occurred on at least three occasions in Cleveland County at the request of her boyfriend.
Gaurotte has been booked her into the Washington County jail for distribution of child pornography, manufacturing of child pornography, sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12 and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
The victim and another child are in protective custody, OSBI said.
