As people across the country honor veterans for Memorial Day, one cemetery in Green Country is going the extra mile to make sure those men and women aren't forgotten.
At Floral Haven Cemetery, a replica of the Tomb of the Unknowns is being guarded by Civil Air Patrol cadets. A group of 12 cadets re-enacts the changing of the guard every half hour.
It's the only ceremony of its kind in the United States.

Volunteers have spent hours raising over 3,000 flags at Floral Haven. They've also placed flags on the graves of every veteran buried there.
They tell us there are 141 new veterans buried at Floral Haven.
At 3 p.m., they'll be observing a national Moment of Remembrance. And at 5 p.m., they will retire the colors. The changing of the guard continues every half hour until 5 p.m.
