And this weekend is the Tulsa Pride Block Party and Parade.

It happened in Downtown Tulsa near Fourth and Kenosha.

The free event is the largest LGBT festival in Oklahoma and features live music, food and shopping.

This is the 32nd year for Tulsa Pride.

The threat of weather did not slow anyone down at this year's Pride.

"So, we're good to go whatever happens in Oklahoma," Oklahomans for Equality Executive Director Toby Jenkins said. "Listen, gay people in Oklahoma are hearty, prairie gays, they're tough and resilient and they're not afraid of bad weather and they're not afraid of some heat. And, so they just stick it out."

On Sunday you can join Tulsa Pride in Centennial Park for a picnic from noon to 5 p.m.
