Sand Springs police made an arrest in last week's BancFirst robbery. Aaron Joseph Rock is being held in lieu of a $100,329 bond for first-degree robbery after a felony conviction and failure to appear for possession of paraphernalia.

A friend reportedly led police to Rock after seeing surveillance photos and video released after the bank robbery June 14, 2014. The friend told police he was with Rock later in the day the bank was robbed and that Rock had a large amount of cash and wanted to go to a casino.

The friend also told police Rock had a tan pickup matching the vehicle seen in surveillance video, according to an arrest report.

Rock and his friend lost money at a local casino then went to a gentleman's club, according to the report. When asked where he got the large amount of cash, Rock reportedly told his friend he took it from a guy who passed out at a party.

That tip led police to get search warrant for Rock's parents home in Tulsa where the 24-year-old man lives. They say they found clothing similar to that worn by the robber on June 14, 2014.

On that day, a man matching Rock's general description entered the BancFirst at 102 West 41st Street and gave the teller a deposit slip with the message: "Give me your money. I have a gun," according to an arrest report.

After police arrested Rock, one of the tellers at the bank picked him out of a photo line up, the report states.
