Looking for something to do this weekend? You might want to check out the Star Spangled Salute air show at Tinker Air Force Base.

The F-16 Thunderbirds are putting on a massive show this weekend. It takes a lot of training before flying 17,000 feet in the air.

News 9's Justin Dougherty says the best part of the flight is the suit. When you hit the G's the suit fills up with air around the calves, thighs, and waist to keep the blood in your head and not in your toes, which could cause you to pass out.

For example, a roller coaster hits about 2 G's. When you're flying with the Thunderbird you could potentially hit 9 G's.

The "Star-Spangled Salute" air show runs this weekend from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.
