Oklahoma State capped its 2014 season by finishing the season ranked 10th in all four major national polls, marking the first time in 15 years the Cowboys have garnered a top 10 ranking in the final polls.

OSU secured the No. 10 spot in the final national rankings of the NCBWA, Collegiate Baseball, USA Today and Baseball America.

The Cowboys previously had not finished a season ranked in the top 10 since OSU's 1999 College World Series team came in at No. 8.

The 2014 club's top 10 ranking marks the 18th time OSU has finished in the top 10 of the Collegiate Baseball (polls since 1959). The Cowboys have been in the top 10 of the final Baseball America rankings 14 times (since 1981) and of the USA Today/ESPN/ABCA rankings four times (since 1992), while this year marks the program's first top-10 showing in the final NCBWA poll (since 2001).

Under second-year head coach Josh Holliday, the Cowboys finished 48-18 and advanced to the third NCAA Super Regional in program history. Along the way, OSU captured its first-ever Big 12 Conference regular season championship, finishing 18-6 in a league that sent three teams to the CWS.

OSU's 48 wins tied for the fifth most in the NCAA in 2014, while its .727 winning percentage tied for eighth nationally.

The Cowboys were ranked in at least one national poll every week of the 2014 campaign, running their streak of consecutive weeks in the rankings to 32 dating back to 2013. OSU peaked at No. 3 in the NCBWA poll on June 3.
