The Tulsa Police Department say there have been no arrests after officers found a dangerous chemical while serving a search warrant at an east Tulsa home Tuesday evening.

Sergeant Jacob Thompson with the Tulsa Police Department said officers were serving a warrant for drugs when residents told firefighters there were hazardous materials inside the home near 29th Street and 98th East Avenue.

Thompson said the bomb squad and the Tulsa Fire Department hazmat team was called to test the chemicals after it was believed the substances could be explosive.

Of the three chemicals tested, one was determined to have flammable properties and Thompson said it was removed from the house and safely disposed of.  The name of the chemical has not been released.

No injuries or official evacuations were ordered, but neighbors in the area stay inside their homes.
