TULSA, Oklahoma - Some Tulsa YMCA summer school students got a great surprise Friday. Among the many things kids in the program have learned is bicycle safety.

At an assembly Friday at Skelly elementary, the students thought the bikes were there so they could show off what they've learned to their parents.

YMCA organizers have taught bike safety for several, but knew they needed to add something this year.

"I think we all hope that this will help keep 'em up and active and disconnect them from their computer or Gameboy or whatever it is, and get them outside," said Laura Hailey with YMCA Greater Tulsa.

The Humble Sons Bike Company donated 200 bicycles for the students.
