DVIS Call Rape and the Crime Prevention Network are hosting a free personal safety tactics class in East Tulsa Monday night.

Due to the recent events in our neighborhoods, The Crime Prevention Network wants to provide you with some of the basic skills you may need to avoid -- and escape -- dangerous situations, their flyer reads.

DVIS will also talk about how to cope and rebuild your life if you are a victim of violence and sexual assault.

The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Martin East Library, 2601 South Garnett.
