TULSA, Oklahoma - A woman was taken into custody after Tulsa Police officers said she stole money from a cash register at a Burger King restaurant near 41st and Memorial Thursday morning.

The robbery happened just after 7:30 a.m.  Officers said Charisse Tidwell, 29, entered the restaurant went behind the counter, opened a cash register, took cash and after fighting with an employee ran out of the store.

Officers said a restaurant manager followed Tidwell to a city bus stop at 33rd and Memorial while talking to police on his cell phone.

When officers searched Tidwell, they found the money taken in the robbery.  They said Tidwell also admitted to stealing the money.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
