Claremore Man Killed When Motorcycle And Pickup Collide Near Owasso

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Claremore man died after a motorcycle he was riding hit a pickup on Highway 20 in Rogers Friday afternoon.

The crash happened at 4:27 p.m. at the intersection with Ridge Road, according to the OHP.

Troopers said James Don Moore, 38, was headed east on his 2007 Yamaha motorcycle when a westbound Ford F150 pickup attempted to turn left onto Ridge Road in front of Moore.

The OHP says the motorcycle hit the pickup. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pickup, Steven Ellis, 47, of Owasso was not injured.
