Tulsa, Broken Arrow Fire Departments Extinguish Office Fire

The Tulsa and Broken Arrow Fire Departments worked together overnight to extinguish an office fire near 61st Street and Garnett.

According to TFD District Chief Glenn Brigan, they received reports of smoke coming from the Building Specialties office. He said once they arrived they were able to contain the flames to the front second-floor offices.

He said the first floor of the building housed building supplies – sheetrock and lumber - but none of the materials were hazardous.

Brigan said because of the joint effort between TFD and BAFD the fire was put out quickly.

No one was injured in the fire.
