OSBI Investigates Grove Assault

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into a case in which a man reportedly assaulted his brother, a news release says.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is looking into a case in which a man reportedly assaulted his brother, a news release says.

OSBI said the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office requested investigative and crime scene assistance after the 2 a.m. incident took place on Sunday.

The assault took place on South 610 Road near Grove where numerous people gathered to socialize, the release says.

Randy Murry, 54, was assaulted by his brother Gary Murry, according to OSBI. Gary Murry was arrested for aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon (gun).

The extent of Randy Murry’s wounds are unknown, although he was flown to a Joplin hospital.
