Police: Robbers Shoot Victim In The Back As He Ran

Robbers shot a man in the back as he tried to run away from them, according to Tulsa Police. It happened around 2:30 Sunday morning at the Bradford Town Homes near 21st and Highway 169.

Tulsa Police say five or six men tried to rob the victim, but he turned and ran. That's when officers say they fired several shots, hitting him in the back and the leg.

Then, they took off -- empty-handed.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, but he is expected to survive.
