The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says seven people were injured in a crash at the Osage Park Recreation Area on Skiatook Lake early Tuesday.

Troopers said a pickup truck leaving the recreation area west of Skiatook on Highway 20 crashed into a tree at about 2:30 a.m. The driver, Cheyenne Moore of Lonoke, Arkansas, was in apparently normal condition when she missed a curve and hit the tree, a trooper's report states.

The OHP says three of the seven victims were riding in the pickup’s bed. They said none of the four people riding in the cab was wearing a seat belt.

Moore, 18, was admitted to a Tulsa hospital where she is said to be stable with head and other injuries.

Ambulances from Skiatook and Collinsville took all seven victims to Tulsa hospitals. OHP says four of them were admitted, the others treated and released.

One of the injured passengers who was hospitalized was a 16-year-old girl whose name is being withheld. Also admitted to local hospitals were Tulsa residents Trevor Haynes, 18, and Tyler Masingale, 20. They are all said to be stable.

The OHP collision report says unsafe speed for the road conditions caused the injury wreck.
