Rain and cooler temperatures are on tap for eastern Oklahoma Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch from 1 p.m. Wednesday until Thursday afternoon for several Oklahoma counties. The list includes Creek, Latimer, LeFlore, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Pawnee, Pittsburg, Sequoyah, Tulsa and Wagoner counties.
News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says rain-cooled air will keep the temperatures across eastern Oklahoma in the mid to lower 70s.
Rain was moving into eastern Oklahoma Wednesday morning and Crone says areas south and east of Tulsa could see several inches of rainfall by Thursday morning.
Crone says the rain should exit the state by Thursday afternoon.
