Owasso Community Group Holds E-Cycling Event

Owasso-area residents can get rid of old electronics at the Owasso Community Resources Saturday. An E-Cycling Event is being held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. August 9 at 109 North Birch.

That's behind Owasso City Hall, according to Randy Cowling of Owasso Community Resources.

The community group is working with United Recyclers to collect old electronic items - not including refrigerators or freezers, Cowling said.

There will be a container in the parking lot - and when it's filled, United Recyclers will donate up to $5,000 to help families in need.
