The 2014 college football season will have a very different look to it, or at least the end of it will. This will be the inaugural season of the College Football Playoff, a four-team tournament to determine the national champion.

Teams will have to be selected by a panel of experts in order to make the tourney. So in preparation for this historic event, ESPN has compiled campaign posters for some of the nation's contending programs. Each poster comes with a slogan that explains why they should make college football's Big Dance.

ESPN designed posters for the preseason's top four teams, including the Oklahoma Sooners. OU's poster reads “Vote Oklahoma” at the top, then has a picture of coach Bob Stoops just below, then reads “The Empire Strikes Back” on the bottom.

The slogan is a reference to the title of the second Star Wars movie, and is meant to allude to the Sooners' potential return to national dominance.

The other programs included were No. 1 Florida State, No. 2 Alabama and No. 4 Oregon.

OU kicks off the 2014 campaign on Aug. 30 against Louisiana Tech.
