An alleged purse snatcher was under arrest and stolen goods recovered in about 15 minutes, according to Tulsa Police.
Sergeant Darren Bristow said a woman at the Wild Cherry Salon in the 1100 block of South Memorial reported her purse stolen, with a wallet, cell phone and credit cards. They "pinged" her iPhone and located her property about a mile and a half away.
"Officers came over to 21st and Sheridan where they located the suspect vehicle, stopped the suspect vehicle and recovered all the items," he said. "Nothing was lost."
They arrested Traevon Keys, 23, at about 12:15 a.m. Sunday for grand larceny, knowingly concealing stolen property and two traffic warrants.
Keys was at the Kum & Go gas station when officers tracked him down. The purse was found wrapped up in a shirt located in his car.
