A 79-year-old Parkhill man died a few days after crashing his pickup outside Tahlequah. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say Kenneth Stewart suffered an unknown medical condition that caused him to wreck Thursday morning, August 14, 2014.

Stewart was driving a 2007 Chevrolet pickup about four miles west of Tahlequah on a county road, according to a collision report. He passed out at the wheel, and the pickup ran off the road through a field, striking three fences and a utility pole before stopping, the investigating trooper said.

He passed away early Sunday morning in a Tulsa hospital.
