Tulsa Man Arrested For Raping Girl Who Ran Away From Youth Shelter
TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa police arrested a man after they say he raped a 15-year-old girl.
A report says Jessie Lynn Moore, 48, met the girl and her 13-year-old boyfriend near 11th and Garnett after they ran away from the Laura Dester youth shelter. According to the arrest report, Moore told them they could stay with him in his motel room, which was nearby.
While they were in the motel room, the three of them got on the bed, according to the report. The girl told police Moore and her boyfriend began whispering to each other, then her boyfriend grabbed her hands and held them over her head while Moore raped her.
She told police she told t hem to stop and when they didn't, she kicked Moore and ran to the motel's office to call police.
She underwent a sexual assault exam at a local hospital, the report says.
Moore, who was booked for first-degree rape, told police the two teens told him they were 19 and 20 years old.
