Drillers Host First Two games Of Championship Series

The Tulsa Drillers will host the Midland RockHounds for the first two games of the best-of-five Texas League Championship. The two games will take place this Tuesday and Wednesday.

First pitch both games is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. in downtown Tulsa.

The Drillers advanced to the Texas League Championship Series after defeating the Arkansas Travelers three games to one in the Texas League North Divisional Series.

Tulsa won three straight games, including the final two in North Little Rock, after dropping the first game of the series at home.

The Championship appearance is the first for the Drillers since 2002. It is also the first post-season meeting between Tulsa and Midland in the franchises' histories.

The Drillers last Texas League Championship came in 1998, when they defeated the Wichita Wranglers in seven games.
