The first of two cold fronts will arrive in eastern Oklahoma Wednesday afternoon bringing a chance of thunderstorms.
News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says the chance of any severe weather from the front is very slim, but any storms that develop could produce brief strong winds and small hail especially across southeastern Oklahoma Wednesday night.
Crone says a second surge of cooler air will brush the state Thursday night into Friday with Friday afternoon highs in the lower 60s and some showers near Tulsa.
He says drier air will clear the skies in time for Friday night high school football games. Saturday morning lows will be in the upper 40s and highs on Saturday in the mid-70's across eastern Oklahoma.
