The Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies recaptured a jail inmate who walked away from a work crew Friday afternoon.

TCSO Captain Billy McKelvey said the inmate, Jacob Burris, 21, of Tulsa was part of a low risk work detail working at the sheriff's office shooting range. He walked away at about 12:45 p.m.

Captain McKelvey says Burris was taken into custody at 66th Street North and Lakewood about an hour later.

Jail records show Jacob Burris was being held on an application to revoke following his arrest on August 4, 2014.  He was being held without bond.
