Tulsa Police say a woman wearing white face paint or make up robbed a Walgreens of prescription drugs Sunday morning. Officers were called to the pharmacy at Pine and Sheridan at about 11:30 .am.
Captain Steve Odom said the woman presented what appeared to be a handgun and asked for "certain, very specific prescription drugs from the pharmacist."
The woman left after getting the drugs. She may be the same woman who has committed at least one other pharmacy robbery, but police are still investigating to determine that, he said.
"It is unusual for females to hit stores, so it could be the same person," Odom said. He said investigators will compare the two reports and surveillance video to learn if it is more than coincidence.

Odom noted that once the narcotics hit the streets, they generally end up in the hands of addicts who are "a little bit desperate and are unpredictable," contributing to more potential problems.
