Former Tulsa County Sheriff's Deputy Charged With Sexual Battery

A former deputy of the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office has been charged with two counts of sexual battery.

Gerald Nuckolls has been in the Tulsa County Jail since last week after a woman filed a complaint saying the deputy sexually assaulted her.

The woman said Nuckolls arrived at her home around 4 a.m. September 16th to investigate a 911 hang up. The woman said she gave him permission to search her home for drugs but nothing was found.

She said she let Nuckolls into the garage where he asked if she was wearing a bra, pulled up her dress and began to touch himself before he left.

While he was leaving, the woman said he told her he “would be back at 0800 when he got off work to check on her.”

Once an official complaint was made, the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation and interviewed Nuckolls where reports say he admitted to inappropriately touching one of the women.

Reports also say Nuckolls admitted to have sexual-type activity with six other women during traffic stops or calls. He said he exposed himself to several of them, sent nude pictures of himself and obtained nude pictures of the women, report say.

One other woman has come forward, but police believe there are still more victims out there.

Jail records show Nuckolls has been charged with two counts of sexual battery, indecent exposure and outraging public decency.

His next court date is scheduled for September 23rd at 9 a.m.

Nuckolls resigned after he was arrested.
