One of the eight schools in Tulsa County that received an A grade on the recent school report cards took some time Wednesday to celebrate the hard work behind the grade.
Teachers, staff, and students at Discovery School of Tulsa gathered for a special assembly.

Tulsa City Councilor Karen Gilbert was also there to praise the teachers' and students' achievements.
Discovery School's principal, Maureen Brown, said teamwork is the key to success.
"We have a small learning environment, very caring teachers, dedicated staff members, parents who support their children and hardworking students,” Brown said.
Discovery School is a college preparatory public charter school that focuses on math, science, and computers.
