Police: Armed Man Robs Tulsa Liquor Store

Tulsa Police say a man with a gun walked into a Tulsa liquor store and demanded money late Monday. 

Officers said the robbery occurred at Red Sky Liquor in the 4700 block of East 51st Street just after 9 p.m. They said the robber was a white male in his late 20s, 6'2" tall and weighing about 225 pounds. He was holding a silver revolver. 

Police said the man had a black bandanna over his face and was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. He placed a red or orange bag on the counter and told the clerk to put money into it. After getting the cash, the man ran out. 

A police K-9 officer tracked the man for a short distance then lost the scent. Police said the clerk was not injured.
