After a crime happens, there are many puzzle pieces and clues that need to be put together.

So if you enjoy shows like CSI and NCIS, a career in forensics might be for you. On Saturday, the OSU School of Forensic Sciences opened its doors to potential students.

Visitors toured the forensic science facilities and asked questions with faculty and staff.

Dr. Robert Allen, Ph.D., director of the program, said students can find a rewarding career and contribute by making the community safer.

"There is a demand for forensic scientists both in the U.S. and also internationally," he said. "One of our recent graduates is in Afghanistan working with the Army."

The Tulsa police crime lab is even housed in the basement of the building.
