Oil Vat Fire Closes Sand Springs Sonic Restaurant

A Sand Springs Sonic restaurant will be closed for the day because of a fire. 

The Sand Springs Fire Department says no one was injured in the fire at the restaurant at 101 East 38th Street. 

Firefighters got the call at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday. They say the fire was in an oil vat. The fire department hasn't said how it started.

A worker at the restaurant told News On 6 it will be closed Thursday but should reopen on Friday.
