Transport Of Giant Object Postponed In Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow announced that the transport of a demethanizer from Exterran in Broken Arrow to a gas processing plant in Fort Lupton, Colorado has been postponed.

The transport of what could be one of the largest loads ever hauled through the state of Oklahoma has been postponed, according to the City of Broken Arrow.

The equipment will eventually be hauled from Broken Arrow to Colorado. The City said they will announce the new move date and time as soon as the information is available.

Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul was planning to move the demethanizer from Exterran in Broken Arrow to a gas processing plant in Fort Lupton, Colorado starting on Saturday. It is 425 feet long and weighs in at just over at 1.1 million pounds.

The route through the state is still being finalized, according to a city spokesperson.
