The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Sperry resident is in a Tulsa hospital after he crashed his car late Wednesday on a Pawnee County highway.

Troopers said the alcohol-related crash occurred just after 9 p.m. on Highway 64 near Blackburn Road about 7 miles west of Cleveland.

The OHP report states Fletcher Moore Jr., 61, driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 eastbound when he lost control on a curve, went off the highway, rolled his car and was pinned inside for about 20 minutes.

Troopers said Moore, smelled like alcohol, was flown by medical helicopter to Tulsa.
