Tulsa Police: Woman Stabbed In Fight Over Man
TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa emergency crews were called to a domestic stabbing around 11 a.m. Tuesday. It happened in the 2400 block of West Independence. A patrol officer was flagged down and found the wounded woman on the ground at a park at Gilcrease Hills.
Captain Steve Odom, Tulsa Police, said two women were arguing over a man. One of the women was cut behind the right ear and taken to the hospital for treatment.
She was in serious condition, according to Odom.
"EMSA was concerned, but I don't know if it was life threatening," he said.
The suspect ran from the scene, but the patrol officer tracked her down to 1300 North 24th West Avenue.
"He took her into custody, and our crime scene people will be going over to that location to see what they can process or collect over there," Odom said.
