A judge sentenced a Tulsa couple to prison for severely neglecting their 3-year-old daughter.

Mark Knapp and Elizabeth Pester pleaded guilty last month. On Tuesday, November 25, 2014, a judge sentenced each of them to 20 years in prison.

According to court documents, DHS took their daughter into custody soon after her birth in December of 2010, saying they weren't spending time with her and she was having feeding issues. She was returned to her parents in March of 2011.

In June of 2012, she was taken to the hospital because she weighed only 13 pounds.

Police eventually arrested Pester and Knapp on neglect complaints in October of 2013.

Police said Pester and Knapp spent all their time in a fantasy world online and were playing computer games when they were arrested.

The little girl was put back into DHS custody after the couple's arrest last year. She was in critical condition at the time and will turn four in December.
