Sand Springs Police arrested two Tulsa sisters Monday night in connection to a shoplifting incident at a Walmart store.  Police said Amber Edmundson, 20, and Lamisha Edmundson, 24, attempted to leave with two shopping carts loaded with $800 in merchandise from the Walmart on Highway 97 earlier in the day.

They left their shopping carts behind after Lamisha Edmundson pepper sprayed three store employees who confronted them, police said.

Officers booked Lamisha Edmundson into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of grand larceny. They booked Amber Edmundson on three complaints of assault and battery as well as complaints of false impersonation, interfering with a police officer and grand larceny.

Jail records show Lamisha was being held in lieu of $2,000 bond and Amber's bond was $6,600 with both set for a December 16, 2014 court appearance.

Monday's shoplifting arrests are not the first for both women.

Amber and Lamisha Edmundson were arrested in July 2014 by Tulsa Police officers after a police chase following a shoplifting incident at Gordman's near 21st and Yale.

Police say the two sisters ran into Gordman's, grabbed a handful of clothes and ran back to the car, which sped away.
