Neighbors called police after a rollover hit-and-run wreck in east Tulsa. They discovered a blue Ford Mustang on its top in the 2400 block of South 137th East Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Tulsa Police Officer Craig Johnson told News On 6 the Mustang was headed south when the driver went up over a curb and took out a brick mailbox. The car flipped upside down.

The driver walked away, Johnson said, so police don't believe he or she was injured.

Johnson said the car hadn't been reported stolen, so detectives will be following up with the owner to see who might have been driving.

"It completely destroyed the brick mail box and the Mustang," Johnson said, "but other than that - there wasn't another car involved and it didn't hit the house, so we got lucky on that one."

He estimated the Mustang's speed at between 40 to 50 mph.

No alcohol was found in the vehicle, Johnson said.
