A Claremore woman was arrested after firefighters responding to an apartment fire say they found evidence of drug use in her home.

Leslie Ann Yochum, 31, had two juvenile daughters with her when she was arrested, according to the Claremore Police Department.

Officers say firefighters called them in to an apartment in the 1700 block of North Sioux Tuesday afternoon after seeing paraphernalia, an arrest report states.

Investigators say they found methamphetamine inside a purse and smoking devices.

Yochum was arrested on complaints of felony drug possession, possession of paraphernalia and child neglect. She also had three outstanding city warrants.

No word on what caused the fire.
