Firefighters from five departments fought a wildfire north of Tulsa near the Turley area Wednesday afternoon.
The area is just north of Tulsa at 56th Street North and west of Highway 75.
Video from Osage SkyNews 6 HD shows the fire began as a grass fire, but spread to some brush and then to piles of automobile tires. The video showed several small structures on fire but News On 6 couldn't tell what kind of buildings they had been.
Firefighters from Turley, Tulsa, Black Dog, Limestone and the Oklahoma National Guard worked the fire.
The gusty, southwest wind was driving the flames toward a line of houses and firefighters were attacking it from several angles to save the buildings.
Fire crews said they didn't know how the fire started. It destroyed at least two out buildings.
