The former CEO of a Tulsa tucking company that shut down, stranding drivers across the country days before Christmas, cut a deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty.

"This is an individual who had an income of a million dollars and that wasn't enough," said U.S. Attorney Danny Williams.

Doug Pielsticker admitted cheating on his taxes and doing nothing when he learned Arrow Trucking was withholding taxes from workers, but not sending that money to the government.

Pielsticker could get up to eight years in prison when he's sentenced in May.

At that sentencing some former employees of Arrow Trucking will have the chance to address the court.

Some said they were more than willing to address Pielsticker in person, while others said it was water under the bridge.

"Everybody knew we were in trouble financially and he had a Bentley dropped off in the parking lot," said former Arrow Trucking employee, Kristy Rogers.

Rogers worked for the company for eight years and said these memories still feel like it happened yesterday.

"We knew something was up but there was nothing we could do to prove anything. Back then, as they are now, jobs were scarce and you don't rock the boat when you have nothing else to go to. If you start rocking the boat or accusing somebody of doing something who else is gonna hire ya," she said.

Rogers said she lost $5,000 when Arrow closed its doors, but she calls herself lucky.

"My friend, she got stuck with $20,000 medical bills. She says it ruined her credit to the tune of $20,000 because her and her husband both worked for Arrow Trucking," she said.

Pielsticker's guilty plea to tax evasion and fraud - down from an original 23 count indictment - don't sit well with Rogers.

"You are the main man. You own it, so you should know and take responsibility for what's happening underneath your nose," she said.

Another former Arrow employee, Michael Mason, eventually got his money back - more than $5,000 - but not until three years later.

"It doesn't really matter to me; it is water under the bridge. It would be nice if the people who still don't have their money back get their money back, that would be great," Mason said.

Rogers said, "I would like to see them get something out of this and him walking away ain't gonna cut it, just not gonna cut it."

All employees have received their money back, but it is the bank that claims it is still owed $25 million by Pielsticker.

Pielsticker's sentencing is set for May.
