A man was arrested early Friday after leading police on a high-speed chase from Owasso to Tulsa on a motorcycle.

Taylor Ramhorst, 20, of Tulsa, reached speeds on his bike of over 100 mph before the pursuit ended on the Tisdale Expressway in west Tulsa, according to Owasso police.

OPD Lt. Nick Boatman said an officer attempted to pull over Ramhorst for speeding about 12:30 a.m. at 76st Street North and U.S. Highway 169.

The motorcycle sped away heading south on U.S. 169. Ramhorst then got off the highway headed west on 48th Street North, south on Sheridan and west on Interstate 244 in Tulsa. Boatman said the chase ended when Ramhorst's motorcycle ran out of gas.

Ramhorst was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of eluding, carrying a weapon, failure to stop for a red light, possession of a controlled drug and violation of driver's license restrictions.

Jail records show Ramhorst has a February 13, 2015 court appearance.
