TULSA, Oklahoma - Several Green Country school districts are closing for Tuesday due to snowy road conditions.

The National Weather Service in Tulsa says Tulsa County experienced from 2 to 5 inches of snow depending on location. A few parts of extreme northern and eastern Oklahoma received over 5 inches.

Tulsa, Union, Sand Springs, Owasso, and Jenks are some of the larger districts that have canceled classes for Tuesday.

Broken Arrow said its students are out of school as planned, and that Professional Development Day activities have been delayed until 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
