The chance of light drizzle is in the forecast for most of the day with increasing rain and thunderstorm chances late and into Saturday morning.

"The best window for precip in the Tulsa metro will be later tonight into early Saturday morning. After Saturday morning, the precip will be moving southeast out of the area," WARN Team meteorologist Alan Crone said in his weather blog.

On Saturday, a "stout cold front" will blast over the area bringing much colder air.

"This air-mass will remain over the area through Monday," Crone said.

Temperatures Monday will remain cold with lows in the teens and highs slightly below freezing, he said. A minor warm-up is possible Tuesday into part of Wednesday, before another very cold air mass moves into the area Wednesday and Thursday.

Late next week, there could be another chance of some wintry precipitation, so stay weather aware and keep checking back with News On 6 and NewsOn6.com.
