The Osage County Sheriff's Office made an arrest in connection to a body found in a house fire Sunday night.

Firefighters were called a structure fire in the 9600 block of Pond Drive in rural Osage County at about 8:30 p.m. after a woman came home to find the house on fire.

Firefighters found a man dead in the living room, court documents show. The victim has been identified as Steven Willey, 58. He died of multiple gunshot wounds to the head, according to Osage County Investigator Charlie Cartwright.

Authorities arrested 28-year-old Jimmy Allen Moser. Moser is a white male, 5'4" and 124 pounds.

Cartwright said the two men were acquaintances, and that Moser had been seen at the home earlier with a gun. The woman who owns the home said Moser had been at the house earlier and the gun had fallen out of his pocket.

Moser was wanted for murder, first-degree arson and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A warrant says that Moser called a roommate early Monday morning. He reportedly told the roommate he was "going as far as the car would take him."
