Tulsa Police Say Evidence Doesn't Match Attempted Abduction Story

Tulsa police are interviewing a fourth grader who said she was home alone when a man came to her door, grabbed her and forced her into his car.

It happened near 35th and Garnett Monday evening.

The girl said she just walked home from school when she heard a knock on the door, then said the man walked inside the house.

She said the man grabbed her by the arm, forced her outside and into his car before he drove away.

The 10-year-old girl said she jumped out of the car when he came to a stop and she started running. She said the man chased after her but she was able to get away.

Some people found her walking along the side of the road, soaking wet, and took her home.

The girl described the suspect as a black male between 30 and 35 years old. She said he was about 6-feet-3-inches tall and about 250 pounds.

She said he was driving a small red four-door car with pinstripes with purple and red flames on the side.

Police, however, have a lot of questions. Officers said the evidence does not match what she's telling them.
