Police Search For Man Who Robbed Residents At Two Tulsa Apartment Minutes Apart

Tulsa Police are looking for a man armed with a metal pipe who stole a purse from an apartment resident on South Peoria late Wednesday.

Tulsa Police are looking for a man armed with a metal pipe who stole a purse from an apartment resident on South Peoria late Wednesday.

Officers said the knocked on the door of an apartment at the Waterstone Apartments in the 5600 block of South Peoria about 11:20 p.m. Thinking he was family, the victim let him in. 

She said the man grabbed her purse and ran. Police said the victim identified him as 6' 2" tall weighing about 140 pounds and wearing all black clothing.

Just prior to that, Tulsa Police said the same man pushed his way into an apartment at the South Glen Apartments just across the street. 

Three women in that apartment said the man pushed one them against a wall and demanded their purses and cash. Police said when one of the women said she had a gun, the man ran out of the apartment empty-handed.

Police say none of the victims were injured.
