Sen. James Lankford Visits Guantanamo Bay Detention Facility

Senator James Lankford visited the detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, on Friday.

Senator Lankford toured the facility along with freshman members of the Senate Intelligence Committee Tom Cotton, Joni Ernst , Thom Tillis, and Mike Rounds.

The group left early Friday morning and returned late Friday evening.

It was Lankford's first trip to GITMO. He and the freshman senators toured the facility, observed detention operations, and met with officials.
