Blue Bell Recalls Listeria-Tainted Ice Cream

The Food and Drug Administration is investigating listeria-tainted ice cream from Blue Bell.

Five patients at a Wichita hospital who ate the compromised ice cream contracted the bacteria, three of them died.

The FDA said several novelty products, all from one production line in Texas, contained listeria.

Blue Bell issued its first recall in company history.

No products from Broken Arrow's creamery are included in the recall.
