Fire In Shed Spreads To Tulsa House

Most of the damage was to a garage in the back of the house, but the fire did spread to the attic of the home, causing some structural damage, authorities say.

Tulsa firefighters are investigating a fire that broke out around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of East Young Place.

The small home is under renovation, and firefighters say no one was living there at the time. Most of the damage was to a garage in the back of the house, but the fire did spread to the attic of the home, causing some structural damage, authorities say.

A firefighter at the scene said the fire appears to have started in a shed that's attached to the garage.
