Family and friends of medical helicopter pilot Matt Mathews are reaching out for help after the crash that took his life.

Mathews died, and two others were injured, when their EagleMed chopper went down in cloudy weather last Thursday night in rural McIntosh County.

A Go Fund Me site set up in Mathew's honor says life insurance won't cover his 16-year-old son's future or other financial obligations.
